Dr. Levandowski is an educator first, holding both a bachelors and doctorate in education. She also had three degrees in occupational therapy: bachelors, post professional masters, post professional doctorate. Prior to joining the Texas Woman’s University faculty, Dr. Levandowski was academic staff at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, her alma mater for three years. In that role, she taught OT foundations, management, community programming and professional clinical skills. Dr. Levandowski also served as a course facilitator for Boston University’s OT post professional doctorate and master’s programs.
Dr. Levandowski’s clinical background is in pediatric practice with extensive experience in the school setting as a specialized early childhood evaluator. She worked as a school based therapist in the Chicago area prior moving to Texas and has advanced training from the US Department of Education in Urban Interdisciplinary services to underserved communities. Dr. Levandowski still continues to practice with a small caseload in pediatric home health as a primary therapist and a supervisor of three outstanding COTAs in the field.
