Requirements

  • Masters in Occupational Therapy Degree or Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy Degree
  • Copy of Occupational Therapy license or proof of practice in the Republic of Korea
  • Official transcript(s) directly from the university, college, or recognized credentialing body
  • Academic equivalency documentation that states your degree is equivalent to a US Masters in OT from Institute of Foreign Credential Services (select General Analysis)
  • English proficiency results:
    • Taken in the last 2 years
    • Qualifying scores:
      • Duolingo English Test: 120 or better
      • Pearson Academic English Test: 64 or above
      • TOEFL: 92 or better (internet-based test)
      • IELTS: 6.5 or better
      • iTEP: 4.2 or better
      • For students with OT education in English, the proficiency requirement may be waived.  In order to waive the requirement, a letter stating the OT program was taught in English will need to be sent directly from the university to sumok.edu.korea@gmail.com.

 

For all applicants seeking a US OT license:
All courses taken through this program are graduate level courses. While the ppOTD coursework can assist toward the fulfillment of the educational requirements toward US licensure, it does not guarantee a US license.
