Directions for Ordering OTD Regalia:
Regalia rental orders are available from Herff Jones for the in-person Commencement & Hooding Ceremony on May 18, 2024. Unfortunately, when the vendor set up the site, the OTD regalia was missed and the site cannot be edited once live. We are truly sorry for the oversight on the webpage. Though we found a work-around, it still should not have occurred. The University, Dr. Lauer, the faculty, and Rehab Essentials calue your journey and willingness to be part of the inaugural graduating OTD class. Deciding to take this journey in your career and personal path is monumental. Thank you!
To rent regalia:
- All regalia must be ordered online and shipped directly to you, regalia will not be available for pick-up in person.
- To ensure delivery of your regalia, orders are due March 28, 2024.
- When you rent regalia, the caps and tassels are yours to keep. However, the gowns and hoods will need to be returned.
- Visit https://colleges.herffjones.com/college/umt/ and select "Physical Therapy Students". This will allow you to order regalia for our commencement event which is on May 18, 2024.
- Keep the "School of Physical Therapy", "Saturday, May 18" and "Doctorate".
- Click "Cap and Gown"
- Then add the regalia to your order.
- You can add stoles and/or cords as you prefer, we do not have any requirements.
Receiving Your Regalia:
You will receive the wrong color hood (teal) when your regalia arrives at the address you selected. This is the PT hood, you will need to hold onto it to return with the rest of your regalia. Dr. Scheeler will be at the commencement and will have the "Rhodes Blue" OTD color hood to give to you in person when you check in.Returning Your Regalia:
When you receive your regalia, Herff Jones will provide a return shipping label with their original packaging. You can keep your tam, tassel, and any other accessories you purchased. You NEED to return the:- Gown
- Incorrect teal DPT hood
- Correct Rhodes Blue OTD hood
