Requirements

 

If you attained your OT degree from a ACOTE accredited institute:

  • MOT or MSOT
  • Official transcripts must come directly from your degree granting institution or National Student Clearinghouse.
  • Copy of Occupational Therapy license

If you attained your OT degree from a non-ACOTE(or foreign) institute:

  • MOT or MSOT
  • Official transcript(s) directly from the university, college, or recognized credentialing body
  • Copy of US Occupational Therapy license
  • Academic equivalency documentation that states your degree is equivalent to a US Masters in OT from Institute of Foreign Credential Services (select General Analysis)
  • English proficiency results:
    • Taken in the last 2 years
    • Qualifying scores:
      • Duolingo English Test: 120 or better
      • Pearson Academic English Test: 64 or above
      • TOEFL: 92 or better (internet-based test)
      • IELTS: 6.5 or better
      • iTEP: 4.2 or better
      • For students with PT education in English, the proficiency requirement may be waived.  In order to waive the requirement, a letter stating the PT program was taught in English will need to be sent directly from the university to OTD@rehabessentials.com.
