Commencement 2024

We are excited to announce the University of Montana and Rehab Essentials will be hosting a commencement ceremony exclusively for our DPT and OTD graduates.   The commencement will be held at the University of Montana and there will be a full day of events to celebrate you and your achievement.  We are in the process of finalizing details and will provide updates on this page.  

Arriving in Missoula:

We recommend you plan to arrive in Missoula on or before Friday, May 17, 2024 and leave on or after Sunday, May 19, 2024 to ensure you do not miss the commencement ceremony.  

Date & Location:

The 2024 Commencement Ceremony & Reception will be held at the Harold C. Urey Lecture Hall at the University of Montana on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Hike to the M 
May 18, 2024 from 7:00 am - 9:00 am (MT) 
Meet at Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown 
Join us in the lobby of the Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown for a walk through campus and a hike up to the "M" on the hill.  It's a great opportunity to take beautiful photos.

Virtual Commencement & Hooding:

It’s all about you! We are focused on celebration, the sense of occasion, and recognizing your significant accomplishment of earning your doctorate degree with an asynchronous virtual ceremony for all graduates. Whether you are attending the in-person ceremony or not, we invite you to submit your personal graduation messages for the virtual ceremony. Check your email for an invite from Rehab Essentials and StageClip for more details.  

In-person Commencement & Name & Comment Card:

During the in-person Commencement & Hooding, we would like to announce your name and a personal message. Please download the Commencement Name & Comment Card here, complete it, and bring it with you to the ceremony.  

Hotel Rooms - Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown:

We recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown since it is the closest hotel to the university.  Rehab Essentials has a block of rooms set aside at the Holiday Inn - Missoula Downtown!  Rooms are filling up fast and must be reserved by April 15, 2024 to receive the discounted price.  We recommend making your reservation as soon as possible. Visa Application Letters:

If you need a visa application letter, please send an email to jonathan@rehabessentials.com with your name, student ID #, and cohort #.  

Diplomas:

All diplomas are mailed to the address you provided on your graduation application form you submitted in September. Diplomas do take 8-12 weeks to process and ship after the grades and degree are conferred in mid-May. You should receive your diploma in July/August.
