Rehabilitation Administration Certificate

The University of Montana - College of Health Professions & Biomedical Sciences is pleased to announce the Rehabilitation Administration Certificate (RAC).

The Rehabilitation Administration Certificate provides an affordable, practical, and career-enhancing plan of study that prepares allied health and rehabilitation professionals to become future managers and leaders in the evolving healthcare environment.

Similar to the t-DPT program, the RAC at University of Montana aims to deliver a quality program taught by nationally-recognized experts.  The program will emphasize the practical nature of RAC to include faculty who are actively managing and leading organizations (APTA, Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins) at the forefront of healthcare reform.  The program will be directed by Michael Friedman, PT, MBA, and Director of Rehabilitation Therapy Services at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

The RAC is a 13 credit, three semester program that can be taken as a standalone certificate or taken in conjunction with the tDPT program.  If taken in conjunction with the tDPT program, the RAC only adds three additional credits (two courses) to the tDPT curriculum; making the tDPT + RAC a viable goal any managerial physical therapist.
